What was your most memorable moment?
I think seeing Greenland for the first time. Greenland is so huge its the biggest Island in the world. - and beautiful - with only 56,000 people . We were very lucky on the trip to have ex Prime Minister Aleqa Hammond on board. She gave lectures on Greenalnd - the country and its politics and had many stories to tell!

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Every day were zodiac excursions - some short with a landing and some longer around the glaciers. All very well organized and informative.
Tell us about the expedition team
Loved the excursion team. Nicki - excursion leader - Richard - Ilene (she ran the kayak trips and was always amazing) Alex and Clair. they were all excellent. Only one from New Zealand who was a geologist - and would never stop talking about rocks and rock formations - even if a whale was spotted!! We did find him somewhat annoying after the first couple of days - but there are other zodiacs!!
Tell us about the SH Vega
We had a suite - cabin 515 - same one we had for Antarctica. Loved the space and all the closets. Would go for a 3rd trip with her if we could!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to The Arctic?
One couple - who did not book with Swoop - had no idea that they needed layers of clothing - and waterproof pants. They only had jeans!!! Swoop sends a first class package - with diagrams on exactly what to bring and wear. If people go by this information - you will have everything you need!
