Scoresby Sund

Scoresby Sund is renowned for being the biggest fjord system in the world. This beautiful location boasts an incredible collection of fauna and flora, the fauna being unusually rich for this area of Greenland. Here you can expect to see barnacle geese, Muskox, Arctic fox, Atlantic puffins and Walruses amongst many others. To the north of Scoresby lies Ittoqqortoormiit, the only permanent settlement in the region.
