What was your most memorable moment?
The whole experience was memorable, but seeing the first polar bear was amazing! Also the dog sledding was something I will not forget. We were lucky to have snow the day we did the sledding. I don’t think it would have been the same if we had done it on wheels.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to The Arctic?
You don’t need to take hiking boots. The boots you are given are very good and that’s all you will wear whilst in Churchill. The coat is also very good. You won’t need another coat in Churchill but will need your own coat for Winnipeg. We actually took too many clothes. I didn’t need as many layers as you aren’t outside very much! Hand warmed and feet warmers are a better idea than loads of layers.
