The trip was good, the light gorgeous, the icebergs fantastical, and the wildlife wonderful with more polar bears than expected. The traditional villages made us think about their future, and we met new friends. The big surprise was our rescue of the passengers on the grounded Ioffe! Please don't ask questions about grandchildren--not everyone has children!!!

Seeing a Polar bear and her 2 cubs feeding from a Narwhal, bitter/sweet. Seeing a glacier calving, twice! Being in the middle of a storm with hurricane gusts and high waves 😱

Overall the trip was very good. G Adventures' personnel couldn't do enough to make everyone's trip special. The lectures and activities were interesting and the ship was very comfortable and clean. The food was fantastic! Our fellow travellers were nice especially the Canadian youngsters who were full of fun and enthusiasm. As for the wildlife - as Steven {one of the guides on the ship] said we were very, very lucky with the weather and wildlife viewings. We were not disappointed in any way.

Seeing the elusive Polar Bear. The landscapes and wildlife were stunningly beautiful but also very baron. Met some amazing people who we will be in contact with. I will tell my grandchildren that we had a BBQ on the front upper deck and got to 82 degrees north. Surprised how "warm" it was, although the wind chill was pretty cold.

Impossible to choose. Obviously all polar bear sightings but arctic fox carrying off eggs from bird cliffs in last moment of last zodiac trip was fabulous

The highlight was the rescue of the Ioffe. The wildlife was everything I hoped. I enjoyed meeting the people, particularly our on-boat Ted. He had a good eye for wildlife and an authentic way of 'being'. He shared with us his polar bear clothing and seal, narwhal and char. I would tell my grandchildren about how healthy the polar bears are and what the Inuit foods tasted like. And what the Inuit were like that we visited, since this is likely to change rather rapidly. I also enjoyed Greenland very much.

Whatching a polar bear rather close from a zodiak for over an hour, eating eggs from eider nests, walking around, finalt going into the ocean swimming away.

Highlights were whales (including blue whales) & polar bears less than 50 metres away. Beautiful scenery, glaciers and great wildlife sightings Our fellow passengers were great to share our experiences & generally hang out. The ships naturalist team/guides were very knowledgeable, gave great lectures. Crew very friendly & could not do enough for you. We really appreciated being upgraded to the suite. It was good to have access to basic intermittent WIFI Food was average, but not important to the enjoyment of the whole trip
