Combination cruises including Svalbard, East Greenland and sometimes Iceland run during the Western Hemisphere's spring and summer months (May to early September), with a particularly wide selection of vessels and departure dates available throughout June, July and August.
Ships range from intimate options with a 12-guest capacity right up to spacious luxury vessels featuring a wealth of ultra-comfortable facilities.
Rarer North Pole voyages also often begin and end in Svalbard. These cruises have limited departures from July to September each year, so early booking is essential.
