Loved the excursions. The staff went out of the way to make things perfect

Yes
Tell us about the wildlife
Yes it did. Not like Antarctica but very satisfied with what we saw. It was early to photograph with such a small group.
Tell us about the expedition team
Therese and Manda were the best guides. I’m not the best walker and they made sure that I got up the mountain safely. They were amazing the caring.
Tell us about the M/S Sjøveien
Cabin clean and as one would expect on an expedition style ship. This may not appeal to those looking for luxury. The food was delicious but not gourmet as We had expected. Loved the informal style on board
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to The Arctic?
Svalbard not as far or rugged as one would think. I would reccomend it to anyone with a sense of adventure.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Global warming is real. We are so wasteful. The ship was very focused on being green.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Swoop needs to work on communication with its clients. I felt handed off to Malva who did what she could. The real glitch was swoops adventure page which failed to upload our documents. Other passengers had better travel agents. I’m glad I did not use Swoop for the land portion of my adventure
