Probably, emerging from the sea fog onto the coastline of East Greenland with Greenland's highest mountain clearly visible. Runner up would be the face of Northaudlet ice field.

Many bears seen, including close up, great hare and two fox species, very nice traveling companions and superb guides, helpers and locals. We are already talking up the trip, with kudos to all. No surprises, except for the realistic habitat-related views; there was no "zoo-like" feel at all.

There were so many. Weather sometimes forced a change of plans. One of these was a zodiac cruise to a small island thru fog. The expedition team hadn’t been to this particular island although they knew about it. We discovered several haulouts of walrus, many cows with cubs, that we could quietly get quite close to. It was surreal!

Havin a polar come up to our polar rover and when flying in a helicopter seeing many 10-15 polar bears on a pennisula.

Several times, while on a zodiac, we encountered great experiences. Being adjacent to an iceberg when it calved in to the fjord and being so close to walruses. Another morning we were ashore and witnessed a massive pod of narwhal whales swim by. Could almost reach out and touch them.
